In what will be annoying to the presidency and the ruling All Progressives Congress, Junaid Mohammed, has backed some of the statement issued by Matthew Kukah.The Second Republic lawmaker affirmed that the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah, was right to say that President Muhammadu Buhari had been promoting nepotism in his appointments.
However, he claimed that Kukah’s analysis was not right, The Punch reports.

According to him, Kukah’s claim that the military would have taken over if it was a southern president acting the way Buhari did was not factual.
Mohammed insisted there would not have been a coup if it was a southern president He said: “Over 99 per cent of the appointments Buhari made were not based on merit.”
